Privacy Policy

What we collect

Nothing. RxCal does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information — including patient names, medication details, dosage information, or schedule data.

How the app works

RxCal runs entirely in your browser. All schedule generation, calendar export, and URL sharing happens locally on your device using JavaScript. No information is sent to any server at any point.

When you close the tab or navigate away, all data is discarded. Nothing is persisted in local storage, cookies, or any browser cache.

Calendar export (.ics)

The .ics file generated by RxCal is created locally in your browser and downloaded directly to your device. It is never uploaded or transmitted anywhere by RxCal. Once you import it into a calendar application, that application's own privacy policy applies.

URL sharing

The Share / Copy Link feature encodes your schedule inputs into a URL. This URL is generated locally and copied to your clipboard. If you choose to share it, the recipient can open it in their own browser — no data passes through RxCal's servers because there are none.

Third-party services

RxCal loads fonts from Google Fonts. Google may log this request in accordance with their own privacy policy. No schedule data or personal information is included in this request — it is a standard font file load.

The source code is hosted on GitHub. Visiting the GitHub repository is subject to GitHub's privacy policy.

Children's privacy

RxCal does not collect any data from any user, including children. Patient names entered into the app exist only in your browser session and are never transmitted anywhere.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, the effective date above will be updated. Given the nature of the app — no data collection whatsoever — significant changes are unlikely.
